T
he LFB has a health service under the responsibility of a qualified school nurse. To assist them in this task, be sure to complete and maintain the health questionnaire on the registration form. It provides valuable and essential information about your children's health.
The school nurse's role is to provide first aid, assess the state of health, provide information on vaccines, administer the medication (s) during school time (with a medical prescription), assess emergencies and make the necessary arrangements in case of an accident, and organise and conduct medical visits. It also facilitates hygiene and prevention activities for students.
It is imperative that one of the parents be available at all times to provide better care for children in the event of a health problem at school. In the event of an accident, the child is taken to the most appropriate hospital.
Sick children should not come to school (risk of contagion, discomfort, fever...). If the child has a fever, it is often a sign of a contagious disease. By not sending it to school, it will limit its spread.
Students are also encouraged to use fresh water at beverage dispensers throughout the day.
This is a free service, personalized medical advice, 100% secure and 100% confidential, made available to CGEA policyholders. You will thus be able to benefit from medical advice at any time, in France or abroad, at no extra cost.
